Make 24 gives you four numbers and asks you to use each number once to make the total 24. Most versions allow addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and brackets.
How to play Make 24
Look for factor pairs of 24 such as 3 * 8, 4 * 6, and 2 * 12, then see whether the four given numbers can form those parts. Subtraction and division are often useful for making a missing 1, 2, or 3.
Use every given number exactly once, and write brackets clearly so the calculation is unambiguous. When a direct multiplication route is not obvious, try making 24 as 25 - 1, 27 - 3, 30 - 6, or 48 / 2. Reordering the same numbers can reveal a solution quickly.
