Brake caliper brackets

I have cut out one of these:

I followed Stefan Gotteswinter advice for cutting sheet metal, which is to use a super low depth-of-cut and high feeds and speeds.

It worked but the tool is now totally ruined and so the bottom edge of the part hasn't cut properly. Also it took over an hour. That was 0.1mm depth of cut, I will probably go up to 0.25mm for the next one.
