Cyclecar spindles

I put some M20x2.0 threads on the end of some pieces of 20mm EN8 bar:

They then didn't quite fit through the wheel bearings so I have been polishing them down with green "Scotchbrite" type material and they do fit now but still on the tight side. It may loosen up enough when the spindles cool down, else I'll probably do more polishing.

So next step on these is probably to bore the hole for the spindle to be welded in, tilted by 8.5 degrees or whatever, and weld the spindles in. Probably with a 3d-printed jig.

Then double check that the brake caliper bracket design is good, and make a couple of those and weld them on. Then make spacers to seat the wheel against and weld them on. Then make steering arms and weld them on. And then done?
