< 2026-04-13Our outdoor chairs often blow over in the wind, so I have devised a way to weight them down without making them ugly.
There is a white PVC tube filled with lead shot, slotted into some TPU 3d-printed end caps, screwed to the aluminium chair legs with self-tapping screws.
Rather than continue manually emptying the garage dehumidifier I have connected it up to a drain.
I actually did this some time last week but didn't note it down until today.
This is an SDS drill in an ordinary Jacobs chuck, it worked a charm.
Great success.
In fact this pipe is no good because it doesn't seal against the spigot on the dehumidifier so it was still filling up the tank, I've replaced it with a silicone hose now that fits properly & have observed it draining correctly.
