Mower oil change

I changed the oil & filter on the mower today, it has done about 113 hours. Apparently John Deere say you should do it every 50 hours, or yearly. Yearly seems unnecessary given the amount of use it gets, so I think 50 hours is probably fine.

The oil that came out looked brand new. I've done about 14 hours since owning it, and unsure when it was serviced before I got it.

I used a random spare oil filter that I had lying around that happened to fit, rather than buying a new one.

I am thinking of using an 8mm end mill for this, I have a 2-flute uncoated, 4-flute with a brown/orange coating but one tooth is chipped off, or a 4-flute with brown/orange coating but it's a serrated roughing tool.
