Chair Feet

One of the dining chairs is leaving marks on the floor tiles, I discovered that the leg of the chair has a plastic piece on the end which slides on the floor, and this piece has worn all the way through so that the head of the nail is marking the floor.

Example of one that hasn't worn through yet:

I made a bunch of these:

They are:

• Acetal
• ~20mm diameter
• ~5mm long
• 3mm hole
• the chair hole is drilled out with a 2.2mm drill or something
• then the new foot is hammered on with one of the nails pictured, and the nail head is sunk nice and deep into the plastic with a drift
