Tractor trailer

The metal arrived so Lucy and I made a start on this today:

Next steps:

• hook it up to the tractor and see how high up it needs to be raised
• make some axle support that brings it up to a good height to be level & clear the wheels
• cross-drill the axle for R-clips or split-pins
• weld the axle on
• weld upright angle-iron pieces at the corners of the bed
• cut the wood for the bed & sides
• make a folding tailgate
• paint it all
