I have designed this:
To be machined with a 4mm end mill, but I need to wait for one to arrive. The deepest cut is 8.5mm and I have a 10mm thick piece of aluminium which hopefully will work fine. And then clamp another piece of aluminium to the front of it and pour some lead into it. What could go wrong?
The chain got pulled off again on the tractor! I think now the issue is that the idler sprocket is not mounted very well and causes a misalignment. Now that the countershaft is supported properly I think we may be better off without the idler sprocket, so I've removed it and done a lap of the garden and seems fine for now.
