Beer

Mon 23 September 2013

I've been brewing some more beer recently.

Will and I used to talk about opening a brewery, but it'll probably never happen. Pipe dream.

The beer is brewed from a two-tin kit (i.e. two tins of malt extract rather than the more common one tin of malt extract plus a shitload of sugar) and the kit also includes "hop powder", which is this mysterious powder which smells like hops.

This is the beer in the process of being barreled.

This is the beer in the barrel.

This is the first pint I poured.

The beer has only been in the barrel for a day, and is not ready for drinking.

The beer is good, for homebrew.
