I am a self-employed software developer living on the virtual realm (but actually in Somerset). And I build puzzles for escape rooms.
I enjoy playing with software, electronics, 3d printing, Bitcoin, puzzles, CNC, chess, metalworking, cryptography, science, Tor, IPFS, steganography.
In 2017-2019, several friends and I formed the "Mowing Nowhere Fast" lawnmower racing team and entered the BLMRA 12 hour. This is an annual 12-hour endurance race, running through the night from 8pm on Saturday to 8am on Sunday. About 50 teams enter with teams of 3 drivers, on lawnmowers that have cutting blades removed, lights added, and some subtle chassis strengthening where appropriate. We never did particularly well but it was a good laugh anyway.
Please email email@example.com and let's talk about whatever you want.
This blog contains quite a lot of posts, across a wide range of topics, and chances are you're not interested in most of them. I think the best way to find the stuff you'll like is to browse through the "tags" listed on the home page. If you can come up with a better way to organise the blog, please let me know.
Occasionally people ask if they can use photographs or excerpts from my blog posts in their own articles. There's no need to ask, you can use whatever you want.
