Countdown letter frequencies

The letters practice game uses separate vowel and consonant stacks. Each stack is shuffled, and each chosen vowel or consonant is taken from the top of the relevant stack.

The same letter counts are used by the daily letters puzzle. The daily puzzle chooses 3, 4, or 5 vowels with equal probability, fills the rest of the 9 letters with consonants, then shuffles the final selection.

In manual letters practice, the player chooses whether each tile is a vowel or consonant. The page enforces the usual limits of at most 5 vowels and at most 6 consonants.
