Terms for membership of the Lizard Rock Syndicate are as follows.

I. Syndicate Rules
------------------

These are rules that are specific to the Syndicate.

1.) You must update your team when given a team update, except in the
    case of point 2.
2.) If it is clear that your team is not going to win the league,
    you may discuss this with James Stanley. After (and if) he agrees,
    you may stop updating your team without forfeiting your right to
    the prize.
3.) If your team wins the league, you must accept the prize. The
    Syndicate will then organise sale of the prize and money will be
    apportioned as per section II.
4.) Failure to follow the rules of the Syndicate will result in the
    infringing member being disqualified from the Syndicate and
    forfeiting his right to the prize.
5.) The team decisions made by James Stanley are final (though you may
    discuss them with him if you feel a mistake has been made).
6.) You must join the Lizard Rock Syndicate league on the fantasy
    league website (League PIN: 9522).

II. Prize Pot Apportioning
--------------------------

 o The syndicate consists of James Stanley and N other members. There
   are N+1 members in total.
 o James Stanley will receive 1/4 of the pot.
 o The remaining 3/4 will be divided as follows:
   o 3/4 * 1/(N+1) to the member whose team actually won the prize (this
     may be James Stanley).
   o 3/4 * 1/(N+1) to everybody except James Stanley, including the
     member whose team won.

Essentially, James Stanley gets 1/4 of the pot. Of what remains, each
remaining member gets 1/(N+1) and the member who won gets that share
again.

This means for N=10, if the winning team does not belong to James
Stanley, James Stanley gets 1/4 of the pot, the winning team member
gets 3/22 (3/4 * 2/11) of the pot, and everybody else gets 3/44 (3/4 *
1/11) of the pot.
For N=10, if the winning team is James Stanley's, James Stanley gets
1/4 of the pot, plus 3/44 (3/4 * 1/11) of the pot, and everybody else
gets 3/44 (3/4 * 1/11) of the pot.
If this is not clear you should ask James Stanley for clarification.

III. Fantasy League Compliance
------------------------------

These are rules you should follow to ensure that you do not get banned
from the league. This is a distilled version of the real rules.
Apply common sense.

1.) You must sign up for the MCN Fantasy League with your real name
2.) Your team name must not be offensive or inappropriate.
3.) You may only sign up for one team.
4.) You must not violate any MCN Fantasy League rules.
